Isidro Beach - Initao

We've been seeing facebook posts about Isidro's Beach, a new beach in Initao, for the past few weeks. So this morning my family decided to hit the beach. Initao is located between Iligan City(45mins) and Cagayan de Oro City(1hour). It is around 20 to 30 minutes from Laguindingan airport. Initao is well known for its white sand beaches and well preserved forest. 

Isidro's beach is just along side the more popular beaches - Midway beach resort and Don Arc beach resort. 

Arriving at the beach: 

Parking area is not that safe as it is just located outside ths resort. You'll have to park your car under the heat of the sun.

We rented a picnic table without umbrella which was supposed to be P300 according to the photo above and the other care taker.  However when we were about to go, the other care taker asked us to pay P500 for the table instead of P300. We just decided to let it pass and paid them P500.

Area is clean and well maintained. 

The beach has several trees so there is enough shade when you get off the beach and rest.

There are also available motor bankas that offers boating to Initao's virgin forest and the near by beaches. They charge P500 good for 10 persons.

The banka will tour you in the sea side of Initao forest. You will also have a stop pver and a quick tour in the forest.

Back at Isidro's. 

Like any other beach resort they have comfort and dressing rooms too.

Overall it was a fun experience and a great bonding moment with the family.
